Cruising Brisbane, "CB", was founded in ~2003 by Pete Turnbull, and changed ownership multiple times before being turned off in ~2013. It's logo was iconic, plastered across the front windscreens of hundreds of cars driving around Brisbane streets every Thursday night. Friends were made and lost.

CB's members would cruise around Brisbane, parking at iconic locations such as Brisbane's "Riverside", Milton McDonalds, Cannon Hill McDonalds and Mount Cootha, where we would talk crap all night long.

Saturday nights were generally reserved for big cruises to the Gold Coast; stopping in at Broadwater Carpark and The Spit at Southport, before heading to Hinze Dam, Glow Worm Caves at Springbrook, or Mount Tamborine, before driving back on the M1 and having some fun with our mates on the highway.

Tuesday nights were generally pool nights at QMasters in Milton. Around 2005, members would drop in at Chillan' in Mount Gravatt, a pseudo internet cafe with pool tables.

    The Website & Forums

The community thrived around the forums. These were a place to organise cruises and other events, as well as for members to share their car buildups in "Readers Rides"

Most users kept the window open while they worked, keeping tabs on the spam thread and other conversations most of the day.

    Notable off topic discussions included:
