AsterisK's 2001 Nissan 200SX S15

Recommended Posts

SOLD 2015

Had the car since October 2006, when it was dead stock except the 18" chromies. Since then it has basically had lots of small little mods since. At the moment it's off the road getting some new goodies, still yet to decide where I want to take it, and it's going to be off the road for a good 6 months while I make up my mind and get everything done.

In chronological order of modifications:

Mods Installed
Gizzmo Electronics MS-IBC boost controller
Greddy front mount intercooler + piping
Reinhard 3" cat back exhaust
Reinhard 3" front pipe
K&N 4" pod filter
3" high flow metal cat converter
Whiteline strut brace
Whiteline front/rear "Blade" adjustable swaybars
Whiteline castor bushes
Bosch 023 fuel pump
Innovate Motorsports wideband O2 sensor
Nismo 740cc injectors
Magnafuel fuel pressure regulator
MSD DIS-4 Plus ignition unit
AEM Pencil Coils
Haltech PS1000 ECU
Z32 gearbox conversion
OS Giken twin plate clutch
One piece tailshaft
Alloy radiator + twin AU thermo fans
6 boost manifold + GT3076R turbo
Turbosmart Hypergate 45mm wastegate
QFM A1RM brake pads, front and back
DBA 4000 slotted rotors
Lightweight alloy pulleys (power steering, air con, etc)
Earls oil cooler with oil filter relocation + thermostat
Custom pipework (AusPerformance free advertising booyah!!! )
Radiator mounted catch can
Speedflow braided lines throughout (oil catch can, fuel rail-fuel reg, turbo lines)
Stripped rear seats and boot

To do:
Tyres
Replace resonator in exhaust with a new Magnaflow muffler or straight through pipe

Long Term Plans:
Coilovers - HSD HT series
Nismo 1.5/2 way LSD
lightweight wheels + semislicks
brake ducting

R33 GTR brake swap (calipers + slotted rotors)
Surge tank + fuel pump + speedflow lines/fittings
Subframe lock kit, camber arms, plus other suspension mods
6 point CAMS approved roll cage with side intrusion bars and harnesses
Weight reduction - remove back seat [done], carpet, dash, etc etc.

Forged bottom end (rods, pistons, etc), headwork / bottom end work
Tomei adjustable cam gears (maybe at the moment, tossing up whether to keep VCT or not)
Tomei 260IN/260EX Procam camshafts
Valve springs + oversized valves

And to top all that off, I'm tuning it myself :thumbsup2:

I'm not sure what the ultimate goal is with the car. I did have it for sale, but due to the number of tyre kickers around, I got over that, and want to spec it out for circuit, drift and hill climb events.
