So….seasons over, we have a new champion.. but what’s everyone’s thoughts on how the FIA/Michael Masi etc have handled everything over the last few months?

I personally think Masi’s sporadic decisions during the last few laps had massively gifted Max a race win and really took a bit of shine off of his maiden championship.

Wins a win. But yep absolute ballbag.

  3. For a solid 10 years, Shane and I were close mates; running this joint and talking most days on good ol' MSN. It was devastating to lose communication with Shane over the years with his medical problems taking away his abilities to communicate with us, and even more devastating to hear of his passing.

He was always up for a good laugh, but also always kept the community honest. CB (and IDR46) were his life and I'll forever be grateful for his time spent enjoying his passionate with all of us.

Yep. Of all the Kart tracks in SEQ Xtreme is my favourite by far.

I love turn 6 (high speed left hander) as you can take it flat with the right approach. Gotta be committed though as if there are people going slower you can have a moment if your not careful.

from memory that corner is a bit dusty also? but getting a good run out of the first hairpin, into the next few corners and then making that big sweeping left hander is by far one of the most rewarding parts of that track. the last few corners before you get on the straight weren't really strong for me from memory, and the few races I did there I always lost position to people drafting behind me.

  6. Every now and then I jump on CarSales and look at S15's and shit myself at how expensive they are now; I bought mine in 2005 for $23,500, when I sold it the market price was only $12,000 for a bone stock S15. NOW, they're all asking for about $40,000 plus.

Had a quick look today and just found this one

  8. Hey everyone, and welcome back!

We're 20 odd members strong already ? Next stop, 10,000+ like the old days!

I want to hear your feedback on how you think Cruising Brisbane should be run, what you'd like to see here, and if you're keen to help out.

What was great about the old days, and what's great in the car scene now?

Any and all suggestions and feedback wanted!
